Louise Keeley - Visual Artist

There are so many things in the world, sometimes it is easy to be overwhelmed. I/you/he/she/it belongs to the infinite. The body a microcosm filled with the same elements as the outer universe, complexity within complexity. It is all so complex. I suppose I am too existencial for my own good. Folds, depths, layers, all is interesting and interconnected in some way or another. Where does one begin?

 

I am currently in my last year of college studying Printmaking ans Contemporary Practice in Limerick School of Art and Desing. This semester I’ve painted a being, explored aspects of personality construction, especially the idea of accumulative fragmentation, and the self is constructed from a phenomenal number of components.

Silkscreen, digital, mixed media and sculpture are the mediums I am currently interested in.
